We fished the day after a cold front which made the fish a little more tight lipped then usual. Sean tailored our trip to what we were looking for and got us on some fish. If you’re looking to experience the backwater fishing I would highly recommend going with him. Sean had great communication prior to the trip and was flexible to our schedule. What an incredible experience! Captain Sean was prompt, prepared, polite and extremely knowledgeable of the area and of all the wildlife, especially the fish. We’re a retired couple who enjoy fishing and learning about new places. Sean was very solicitous of my wife and sensible about my age and general laziness. Within 10 minutes he asked if we were ready to catch snook - yes! He hit a spot and we casted then proceeded to immediately hook some great fish. After half hour we hit another spot just as productive. We then motored to a larger but shallow body of water. I observed that he had fish finding technology but hadn’t used it. Captain Sean said he rarely needed it as he knew the area so well. He dropped anchor and we casted into a fishing frenzy of sea trout and lady fish that was astounding! After refining technique, I caught 15 great fish on 15 straight casts! I have fished all over and been on many great guided days of fishing. But, I have NEVER SEEN A DAY OF CATCHING LIKE THAT. EVER! Fishing and catching are both fun, but they are not the same thing. We got tired of catching fish, it’s exhausting! For a top notch experience call Captain Sean. I’ll be back!

We left that guided tour with Captain Sean and my daughter couldn’t stop raving about it. It’s been a week and she’s still talking about. Such a great experience! There wasn’t a dull moment between the countless fish we caught (lost track), dolphins coming near the boat, bull sharks we saw not too far away as well as a manatee poking its head up at one point. Even a fun surprise at the end in the harbor! So much happened in that short amount of time and we enjoyed every minute. Looking forward to another trip here soon.

We went on a morning trip to hit up snook and trout in the mangroves and rivers around Cape Coral. We were in a changing tide, and the wind was changing the bite. But Capt Sean got us on the fish and and we had a great morning with a number of snook, red fish, trout, and mangrove snapper.
